So i just completed reading MTL of A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality. it was good. but

the story only cover mortal & spiritual world and at the end show him ascending to immortal world.

does anyone know if the Author is planing an sequel.

 

Sort of. Demon's Diary and The Portal of Wonderland are both set in the same universe.

Well, he has not got into Dao that much, till now he has only relied on his cultivation techniques and his treasures to defeat his opponents. but there has been mention of Dao in the novel, like Dao of Time & Space etc. i think he will explore more about Dao in the immortal world which he has ascended to @ the end of the this novel.

 

Also, forgot the most important question: how does he overcome his low talent?

 

He will cultivate multiple body cultivation techniques, which will improve his physique and will also take multiple body cleansing medicine / liquid. he will also once immerse in a pool which will cleanse his body. he also cultivate many immortal cultivation techniques, in which he is a natural.

 

The Heavenvoid Cauldron and the Heavenmend Pill from the latest arc, does he get it and how does he use it? Also, does the MC specialize in alchemy? He trains in talisman crafting, formations and weapon refining as well, how does he fare in them?

 

Yes he will get both The Heavenvoid Cauldron and the Heavenmend Pill and Heavenmend Pill is one of the medicine which will improve his talent. The MC will be sort of like a Jack of all trades. he does get into alchemy, Talisman crafting, Formation & weapon refining, however he does not get in depth of weapon refining. he will only do it some initial levels for experience. as for alchemy, Talisman crafting and Formations, he could be considered an generic expert.

 

But the MC has very low talents in 5 elements, how can he be a natural?

I thought the MC would be alchemy genius due to the herb raising bottle.

Also, is there ANYTHING that the MC is a absolute genius at?

 

Later in the story it turns out that 5 elemental spiritual root is not a bad thing, it just that there not much cultivation techniques available in the mortal realm to utilize it potential, so it considered as bad thing.

i cannot say that MC is not a genius in alchemy. i had told that he is only an expert at it cuz, in the story there no much emphasis on alchemy, Talisman crafting & Formation. It is just shown as part of cultivation, there is not much material in the novel to compare/Judge whether MC is a Genius or not.

MC could be called a absolute genius in cultivation speed and cultivation immortal techniques.

 

and what about his life like romance....i have dropped the novel around 150 chap due to its slow story development but i want to know does it becomes intresting/worth reading..

 

Romance is ok, and very slow paced. He will chase after a girl when he reaches Nascent Soul realm and marry her. there will be other girls who he will be close with and it shown that some of those girls has a love interest on MC. but MC will be loyal to his wife, except for once when he has a fling with one of the girl. MC wanted that girl to stay with him but the girl leaves as she could not be first wife. and the girl is shown in the later chapters of the novel as one of his close friends.

 

Hello, wanted to ask something I forgot earlier: What does the MC's herb raising liquid bottle do? Other than raising herb quality?

 

The author of RMJI is apparently writing a sequel for it now.
