Request Is there any YouTube channel out there that uploads "audiobook" novels?

Long story short I use google books' read aloud function on a daily bases but my S9 broke recentyl. I do however have an old IPhone 4s that I'm using while my S9 in on the repair shop but I can't install Google Books in it because... well, crApple.

I menaged to find TDG in "audiobook" form on YouTube but it is in portuguese


If you know of any ePub reader IOS 9.3.5 compatible app that has the read aloud function please share

 

Surprisingly uncommon, right? This bird thought that something like that would have popped up instantly or that QI would have jumped all over it.

All these good audiobook title that I'll love to try... but it isn't in English.

 

it would be considered as piracy if that was the case, and youtube is a very open channel

Im not sure if I understand. Are you saying that if someone made audiobooks of already translated novels it would be piracy? Even though 90% of the novels in English aren't properly licensed?

Well for any audio-book to be successful you need a pretty damn good voice narrarator.

Imagine listening to a book read by Jar Jar binks, or maybe Kermit the frog or Elmo.
I know there are some of you that will enjoy this.

But I think people would want to hear a narrator with good punctuation and intonation.

 

Are you looking for a voice reader or for LN English-translated audiobooks?

If you're looking for an epub voice reader, this came up on a Google search. I use Android so I can't rate it personally. That said, I know Firefox has a mobile add-on that does voice to text as well.

If you're looking for original language audiobooks, there are plenty of those available. But English translated audiobooks, not so much.

 

Yes. What I meant by audiobook is a recording of the read aloud function of some ePub readers like Google Books or Microsoft Edge built in reader. I found what I was looking for on YouTube but I appreciate your help

 

When I get tired of reading I use Firefox Extension of Text to Speech , once you find your favorite setting it reads the text quite well.
