They only suspect that he is a transmigrator but because Isaac was originally hidden away, they can't compare his original personality (because there's barely any witnesses) vs the personality after the incident. Plus they think Isaac's family has been putting out rumors about him being timid and quiet and stupid so they don't trust that report as well. They then thought he was type 3 or 4 but after what happened with chapter 25 and seeing how crazy Isaac was, they retracted their statement lol.
Lol they want the law to deal with Isaac but they didn't know Isaac will soon be the law once his promotion as the lord kicks in. Wahahaha! I can see that in 3 yrs time isaac succeeds in rehabing the city and then getting the Baron title, however he doesnt want it and uses it as a trade with the family with the exchange of them publicly stating that no harm shall befall upon isaac and if any does they will take full responsibility or smth along that lines.
You think he would hand over the barony to his family who tried to kill him (indirectly)? He'd probably hand it over to someone else in exchange for a comfy position.
Imo that given the conditions stated it would ensure that the family has to go above and beyond in order to keep him safe because their enemies will definitely try to exploit it and hence actually giving them plenty of problems down the road. Also he can build into the contract the condition that he gets a comfy post somewhere he wants.
