Name: Isekai Mahou wa Okureteru! (異世界魔法は遅れてる!) Raw Link: http://haruka-yumenoato.net/novel/83908 NU Link: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/isekai-mahou-wa-okureteru-ln/ Why It Should Get Picked Up: no updates for 3 months and last chapter was posted on 02/13/17 Description: Felmenia Stingray was a genius magician. She quickly became the most distinguished magician of the Astel Kingdom after her discovery of white fire magic, which had the power to burn anything. However, the world is in peril due to the Demon King. The kingdom’s court magicians perform a summoning ritual for heroes and bring forth a hero and two youths, a boy and a girl. Unlike the girl, the young man refused to fight the Demon King alongside the Hero and demanded to be sent back to his world. The kingdom, angry with his behavior, locked him away. Now Felmenia stands before the young man with her strongest magic, the white flame, being completely useless and asks who he is. It was already obvious to her that this man was far stronger than she was. To this he simply responds:“Yakagi Suimei, a magician.”
An extra little note since I'm sure some people are going to be confused about this. "Wait, isn't American Faux translating this right now?" No, we had two groups translating this novel. One doing the Web novel version and one (SkyTheWood Team) doing the Light Novel version. And yes, they are different in some ways. Just like the Overlord LN and WN differ in areas. So the LN has not been translated by SkyTheWood in 3 months and is therefore okay to be posted in the Novel Pickup Request forum. @Alkion Posted this too late for you. PS I second this Request. I like the LN way more than the WN.
The web novel version was just updated, why not read that? Or are there a lot of differences between both versions? EDIT: Oh, I stand corrected.
That and in most cases the LN versions of novels are edited far better than the WN versions reducing plot holes and just in general poor writing. It is their second pass so they already know what works and what doesn't so in the LN they correct mistakes and stuff.
can someone tell me where to find the missing chapters from 29 to 33?, for some reason no group has translated those and until then there is no real reason to read it
