If you could step into the shoes of any existing character from any anime, manga, novel... Who would it be? (You would be in their body and aside from their memories and knowledge, your abilities would be what they have... i.e. nothing missing and nothing extra... Some abilities might be impaired though, in the sense that you wouldn't have the knowledge how to use them properly... or at all)
No one really I could amuse you and say City of Terror's protagonist Having a status panel will be cool
have to agree with the miser on this one. I have become disenfranchised to becoming the main character (or any defined character for that matter) in a given story. Rather, I want to be a side character that fucks shit up.
Either satou from death march, song shuhang from Cultivation Chat Group, Or kazuma from konosuba The first seems relaxing while the other 2 seem fun but painful
Invisible dragons actually a good choice here. He's supah strong and has any ability you can think of https://www.novelupdates.com/series/invisible-dragon/
In most animes, being the MC is suffering. And in most of my favorite series, 1 to all of the characters die, so....
It's called self insert or SI fanfic. I just read little bit of it like SI robert, the mountain, (both from game of throne), riser (dxd), etc.
Touma, toaru series. Why? Mikoto and the setting is realllly interesting. Willheim, sukasuka - said no one ever Joshua(or should I go for someone else?), Legend of heroes series dxd is a great choice too...
The thing with these kinds of threads is that it's obviously going to be preferable to choose one of the most OP MCs in a setting that's as safe as possible...
If I'm looking for : - action = To Be A Power in Shadow - slow life = Death March - romcom = NEET Receives a Dating Sim Game Leveling System And lastly - ero = I Made a Slave Harem Using a Charm Cheat whoopsie..
I love Trails in the Sky! Ironically, though, Willheim might be the character with the least suffering among the three you named. It depends how strongly you rate Joshua's past, I guess.
Sei Iori from the gundam build fighters. building a gunpla and then piloting it sounds really fun and knowing that the iori household main income is from selling gunpla, there will be less hesitation in building one. another + is, unlike beyblades and yugi oh, there are no effin terrorist group using a toy as a weapon
True, I have ended up selecting only tragic protagonists somehow As for most tragic, dunno. All are pretty tragic although Willheim's just feels way deeper in the heart. Another choices would be as a pokemon protag from mangas (Red/Gold maybe?) Digimon is nice too depending of which series you have decided for yourself, like it varies from sweet happy to brutally dark...
Takahiro Mizuno (Walkure Romanze), Akito Konoe (Unionism Quartet) Maybe Maito Senpuuji (Brave Express Might Gaine) Ichika Orimura (Infinite Stratos) or Ayato Amagiri (Asterisk) BUT ONLY IF I'm allowed to be much less dense and/or be more open/honest. Otherwise no. Raiden (Metal Gear series). If I can end up uber badass like he is in Rising, all the suffering through 2 and 4 is worth it.
