Curious what's people here take on this.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.on...tion-pulls-interspecies-reviewers/102168/amp/

    https://animemotivation.com/funimation-ishuzoku-reviewers-translator-nda/

Long story short, Funimation cancelled ishuzoku reviewers in their website after episode 3 and fired the translator. Because it didn't meet our standard.

The biggest question is, why would they license it in the first place?

There is few conspiracy theory about it. like below(from https://nyannet.com/funimation-back...w-information-services-and-theories-run-wild/)

    1. Funimation liscensed the IP to stop other companies from getting it.

    2. Funi liscensed the IP, not realizing what they got into. The material being more than ecchi.

    3. Part of Funimation didn’t have an issue with the IP, but another part did, and internal conflict ensued.

    4. Funi was protecting themselves and VA’s involved with the Vic Mignogna litigation given the material of the I.P., fear of it negatively effecting the suit for them.

    5. Production team ( VA’s, etc, ) were unhappy with the material once they recorded episode 1 and refused to continue.

Soo, which one do you think most plausible? Or do you have different idea?

    tl;dr
people die when they are killed

    I dont really care.

It just makes everything hard to watch. I needed "other" platforms to watch it from.

    You forgot one:

"We expected it to sell well but misread the public acceptance for prostitution so we're now covering our ass by cancelling the show before the public roasts our ass and the show at the same time."

Funimation is a joke. If this show didn't meet their standards, then they should get rid of the ecchi/harem/mature anime in their catalog and stop attempting to dub these types of shows. Be consistent.

Is Funimation supposed to be our parents now? lol

If the quality of fan subs is better than a dubbing company, then there is a problem.

Twitter is even more of a joke these days. It's full of people complaining and being offended by something every day. I am really happy that my company does a social media background check before hiring someone and require leaving devices in lockers before their work shift. People who use social media on daily basis and every hour typically are not productive workers at all. You tell them to get off during working hours and as soon as you turn your back they are on their phones again.

prostitution has and will always exist as long as someone wants to pay for sex might as well make it legal set up legal brothels and watch how rape, kidnapping and drugging women stats go down.
