Well, if a random student get 100 full scores on some tests, it would be weird if someone doesn't suspect a thing.

 

What if that student was also being watched by tens of teachers and dozens of other students?

 

There is bound to have that 1 person somewhere out there.

 

I am more annoyed by two years old doing backflips and slaugthering adults or anything alike. I wonder if the authors have ever seen a two year old.

 

I won't suspect if its an honor student though

The funny thing is that cheating happens all the time in wuxia novels. Usually, it's a secret master using his skills to make a relative newbie look amazing. Then again, power levels are a lot less discrete in those stories, and I wouldn't be surprised if the writers are better than xianxia writers.

 

There are so many cliche tropes and scenario's that get overused that eventually you'll just become numb and desensitized to it.

The annoying part about those cases is that if the character really did cheat, that alone should be a passing mark since they managed to cheat a test that have been impossible to cheat on for so long, in a way that can be more impressive than passing with top marks.

 

Because thinking of original way nowadays is way too mainstream and I'm also here for the nuffies~

 

Hm... Well, most people in xianxias will lie, cheat, steal, kill, rape, etc at every opportunity, including the MC, so it's not weird for people to suspect the MC of cheating when he shows off.

 

What do you expect from a chinese cultivation world where the author is trying to boost the MC by face-slapping side characters/cannon-fodder after they look down on MC?

Dead wrong. I went to a special school for gifted students and everyone was an honor student. Some of the "nicest" students were HUGE cheaters who cheated on every test. Those guys who think they are so smart hate even the merest possibility of failing so they always ensured that they would never fail (by cheating).

One girl in my class got caught cheating in the final exams of our senior year. She never got to graduate and all I can think of is "what a waste." Why? Because the stupid fool didn't actually need the cheat sheet at all. In fact, when she was caught she tried to reason that she shouldn't be expelled because (in her own words) "I never used that cheat sheet!" She just had it on her as a sort of insurance that she would never fail.
