I've an idea to make novel, well, it will not be that great, but i somehow feel my hand itching so much that i can't help it, so i want to ask first... 1. What is the important thing from ln? 2. Do i need to make side character to growing side by side with the main character? 3. What most reader prefer? Tragedy or Romance? 4. Strong Love Interest or Loose Personality? 5. Weak to Strong or Strong From the Start? Well i think that is what i want to ask, please leave your opinion guys, and add some suggestion, i will appreciate it My head is overflowing with idea after i finished my thesis, and i will accept my bachelor ceremony 1 month from now Edit : Novel with Cultivation Route, where random mobs from early will come again at the latter chapter
Inspiration maybe Depends on what kind of story it is. Something like a cultivation novel, then either they improve or they get left behind means it's necessary, something like a slice of life eg another world novel where they just fulfill their hobbies, then they don't need Tragedy is best used as motivations for the future, whereas romance can encompass a lot of things Again, depends on the type of novel, because different types of romance work better with different types of novels Depends on the world settings as well as the character's personality and backstory
i like romance and comedy, but not like those comedy which you see in anime with tag ecchi where they main character gets hit all the time. i also want the main character to actually fall in love and be dopey like heavenly jewel change. i like it when the main character pretends to be dense sometimes but not all the time and by the way i said pretends to act not actually. thats how i feel its upto u though
Don't listen to others, or you will never get your novel started forget about finishing it. You are going to get several conflicting views and opinions, which is not going to help you in anycase. So just choose what you like... Apart from that: Try to keep away from clichés and repetition of plots. No arrogant, bullshitting and stupid enemy. No mount tai. Yes, MC and Side characters are to be grown side by side.its better to give them their own life. I personally prefer both romance and tragedy.(that was useless, I know) Don't forget world building. Good grammar, to keep the Nazis away. Strong love interest. I prefer to start from strong. Maybe strong to strongest.
For longer stories, random events must be recorded, even if it doesn't affect the story, they can be used latter for plot twists. However keep relevent. Add enough and it becomes a highstory.
For now, what i like to be used is this... 1. The side character will have some random chapter, like side stories? 2. I think i will go with strong love interest 3. There will be tragedy 4. Im not english native, so i dont mind if the nazis come 5. Light hearted comedy, dense action, and carefree MC 6. MC weak to strong Well, i think this will do
