Very ordinary company OL (Office Lady), Azusa Aizawa died from overwork.

For that reason, I decided to live a slow life at a house in the mountain as a Immortal witch of with a figure of 17 years old.
The main source of income is to defeat slime inhabiting nearby to acquire magic stones. I sold this at the Guild at the village. Besides, I made medicinal herbs,Appreciated as "The Witch of the Highlands" and lived with respect and trust.

However, as a result of continuing her life to beat Slime for 300 years, experience values accumulated too much, and unknowingly became level 99 the world's strongest witch .

ごく普通の社畜ＯＬ、相沢梓は働きすぎが原因で過労死した。
そのため、１７歳の容姿を持つ不老不死の魔女として、高原の一軒家でスローライフを送ることにした。
主な収入源は近くに生息するスライムを倒して魔法石を手に入れること。これをふもとの村のギルドで売っていた。ほかにも、薬草の知識を使って薬を作ってあげたりして、「高原の魔女」として感謝され、敬意を集めて生きていた。

Looks interesting, I might use this to replace an option on my poll, and make a teaser as well, but we'll see.

 

I've begun translating the prologue, and may put it out as a teaser, but no promises for a full time translation

You realize the MC is female right? And it's said that she's been killing slimes for a living as an herbalist. At least read the synopsis before you immediately dismiss it, it's all right there in front of you.

Either way I can get behind this type of light slice of life type of thing. I probably ordinarily wouldn't believe that killing weak mob enemies can get you to the max level in any self-respecting pseudo-game-type world, but she did do this shit for 300 years so... I guess I'll buy it? I just hope the main character has some, you know, character and there's some nicely done humor in the writing that isn't just shouting.

I've read a lot of slice of life-type novels and they always lose my interest once I realize the writing has no particular charm nor do I care about any of the characters. Authors don't really realize that slice of life is a rather inherently boring genre and that for it to succeed the characters and the writing need to carry it, and that's especially the case if it's not in comic or animated form so that the cute girls can cover up the complete lack of charm. They set up a premise, introduce the characters, and then illustrate their life but nothing interesting or funny happens. I hope that if someone picks this up it breaks this trend I've had of picking up Slice of Life stuff only to drop it shortly after.

 

Lel, well I love the story kinda already after translating the whole prologue, I'll post a teaser as soon as it's ready

 

It's her, the MC is an immortal witch. Actually this is more of a light hearted slice of life/comedy than action, there's little to no actual fighting or adventure. Her OPness only used as trouble maker magnet and the story usually revolve about how she deals with these trouble makers. Even if it's escalating into a fight the MC will just beat the crap of the annoyance in a sec.

Expect character based interactions story instead of action based story.
