About that part you mentioned, it’s probably during an event where Spoiler: Dungeon Event several dungeons pop-up, and upon clearing them, you can unlock certain things for the rest of the players. To not miss out on the event, the MC chooses a dungeon that is only difficult because of all the traps, which requires little party play.
