Reason why that's prevalent in JP WN and LN is because that's the Japanese culture. In the western world we don't think much about hand holding, kissing or saying love you. In Japan they have issues with doing those things because they are much more reserved. If you don't want any of those things you might wanna stop reading JP novels and read western ones
But i have found quite few japanase novels where MC was not emrbassed. Or even if he was it was not to the point of "blushing", the ones blushing are always the loser-from-previous-life types, where we can have 300 chapters and their relationship only develop to the point of holding hands. You know, i don't want mc behaving like eternal virgin
I believe it was when the harem tag become the default in JP novels and the 'it's not rape when it's the MC doing the humping' starts becoming a norm in CN novels.
Actually this sort of thing happened many times in the past and even today. When you are in a region that doesn't have good safety and has bandits more then likely to have villages that are attacked, people are attacked by wild animals and even in civilized lands there's still rape. So in actuality those things are the most real thing to a fantasy series. Oh and at first the feelings of love at first are likely from the suspension bridge effect but then as they get to actually know the MC they fall in love with him or her again.
If want to know how a girl fall in love, you should read some shoujo, or watch a dorama or k-drama, not a shounen
Nah, i just don't like the types where girls are literally falling from the sky only to hit our mc. I am not looking for romace, it can be without romance at all.
That's because those authors don't mind those things. My views on why are rather simple. if the series has characters that get embarrassed then more then likely the author is more reserved Japanese person. If the characters aren't getting embarrassed then the author isn't a reserved Japanese person. That's just my personal view so i might be wrong but it's a plausible reason on why those stories have those type of people in them
