    Yes, she dies in the second half of the book. The MC does not kill her but Da Bao does. Knowing she has been defeated she enables her death. She actually raises a rebellion towards the end.

    The MC goes to the temple to bring him back. His memories have been erased, but towards the end he kind of remembers.

    Yes the emperor is the real father. All the other girls are leading their own lives as per their interests but they seem to all be intouch with eachother.

    Wu Zhu goes back to the Temple towards the end, MC brings him back. He is heavily injured during the battle with the empeor and is recovering on the mountain at the end. Fei Jie goes on a world tour with the Qing gandmaster.

    The contents of the letter is very disappointing actually. The MC's mother wrote it to the Emperor. It is just a general letter which talks about the Emperor's mother trying to ask her to kill herself and then she talks about domestic affairs. The Emperor keeps it because it is one of the few letters which have a casual tone.

    The emperor kills the MC's mother because of his greed and because he thinks her ideas are a danger to his position. The MC plots to sabotage the Emperor's power with the help of the assistance two other great-grandmasters leave for him after their deaths at the hands of the emperor. Most of the MC plans fail so he directly approaches the emperor and makes a deal with him to spare the people he loves to live. He then comes back to kill the emperor. Wu Zhu, Fan Rou Rou and MC fight the emperor and he finally dies. MC is branded as a taitor but lives comfortably with his wife, servants and kids as the worlds richest man in a mansion near the west lake.

    Thank you for this! Even if the book was completely translated, I'm not reading the novel. I just want to know a quick summary of the book ending.

    From what I remember, Li Yunrui figured out Fan Xian's scheme and snatched the poisoned weapon from Da Bao's hands before he was able to use it. The moment she turns her back to Fan Xian during their conversation is when she uses the poisoned weapon to stab herself. Hence, why Fan Xian didn't notice anything until it was too late.

    How did the MC's mother and Emperor start to have a relationship? Did she love the emperor? Or is it something like arranged marriage?
