well, maybe it's only recoil of the research appeared in my usual thought kenkyuu no handou, is it research on the character influencing his thought? or is the character a researcher, his day to day research influencing his thought need context clarification
'its just that....the research's(backlash) reaction might have shown up on his usual thinking' something like that? i think the sentences were saying that the backlash might have appeared on his head and disturbed his usual thought patterns
