As mentioned, I'm sick so I'm kinda already exhausted and merely going up the stairs can make me breathe heavily, not being able to breathe properly through your nose isn't really nice and despite not being overweight, I've definately never been much of an athlete. As for mental.... Yeeeah.... I keep forgetting what I'm thinking. I'm literally just lying like a dead fish 90% of the time which is probably why I'm having so much trouble falling asleep. Usually if I fall asleep at 3 AM, I'd be sleeping 10-12 hours, but since I got sick I barely sleep 6 because I can't really use any energy without immediately feeling exhausted.
Sleeping pills make you addicted if you use them too much. So for a long-term solution they're terrible. They're made for those people who literally can't get enough sleep in through a week to function normally. If you can get 4 hours a sleep or more a day on average, I really wouldn't reccomend you use them even if your sleep schedule is messed up. Sleeping at odd hours is better than no sleep at all.
I was really questioning that method too. The best medicine is natural. It's what I believe and that's how I live my life. Let my body get strong on it's own, not dependent on stuff.
I do drink plenty, probably not too good at making sure I get enough to eat at the moment tho. I don't really feel hungry and most of the food I make is literally just stuff I can heat up since I can't really stand in the kitchen for long. So I'm mostly eating frozen pizza and preserved soups.
As long as you have stuff to digest ( and better yet healthy stuff to digest ) you should be fine. You're probably underweight like me and have no appetite but just force yourself to eat and drink properly. Later on you could do other stuff too, but keep your body healthy 1st.
Nah, not underweight for sure, my weight is on the high end of healthy for my height despite never being very good at getting 3+ meals a day. Most days I only get 2 meals and some (especially now that I'm sick) I end up only getting one. My digestion is probably not working very well because of that.
Because it's quite common for sleep troubles to repeat. Heres a bit from wikipedia about how common it is. "Between 10% and 30% of adults have insomnia at any given point in time and up to half of people have insomnia in a given year. About 6% of people have insomnia that is not due to another problem and lasts for more than a month. People over the age of 65 are affected more often than younger people. Females are more often affected than males. Descriptions of insomnia occur at least as far back as ancient Greece."
