I really hope someone can pick this up again. I really got into but then stopped translations after a few chapters made me sad.
Synopsis: One day, a boy accidentally fell into a dimension hole. What awaited him was a world of so-called sword and magic. Following a two year journey through this new world, he returned home, but not without experiencing disasters, wars and schemes. Upon his return to “Earth”, he found out that it has begun to intertwine with another world, named “Garesuto”. The world of technology in which he grew has been changed into a fantasy one. His parents divorced and he had no friends anymore. This boy with a new and different knowledge and overall ability gained from another world chose to hide it for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, his actions, accustomed to turmoil and war, are what make him different from his homeworld, the Earth that he knew. This story happened because he returned.
I hope someone picks this back up soon. At this rate I might do something foolish, like trying to read a RAW machine translation.
Here's the Japanese Web Novel RAW, but I haven't found a Chinese version. Not sure how to go about doing that, unless there's a Chinese equivalent of Novel Updates that lets you search using the Japanese name. No idea what the title might be called by Chinese translators, and putting the name into Google Translate probably won't do much good.
Also, for anyone picking this up, keep in mind that the chapters aren't completely listed chronologically in the RAW, for some reason. What seems to be an explanation is written in broken Engrish and can't be understood, for some reason. Chronological order is denoted by the "XX-XX" on the left, with the left being the Arc, and the right being the chapter. Hope this helps.
That hasn't been updated since August 7th, and we haven't heard from the translator since. RTD said they might pick it up in December, since their policy is "4 months no update = Dead".
Yes, though at the rate RtD is currently translating it, it'll be a long time before we catch up. Hope they can get a full time translator for the series soon.
