Name: My Quiet Blacksmith Life in Another World(鍛冶屋ではじめる異世界スローライフ) Raw Link: https://ncode.syosetu.com/n7266fe/ NU Link (if available): https://www.novelupdates.com/series/kajiya-de-hajimeru-isekai-slow-life/ Why It Should Get Picked Up: Something happened to the translator Yume Neiji and no word about Yume in any of the accounts nor Ko-fi. Last update in most of the websites was 09/29/21. Likely RIP. About the novel itself, its still on going with over 500 chapters. Description (if you can find one): I, who was hit by a truck in order to save a cat which turned out to be something really important, was transferred to another world as a reward. There, I chose to be a blacksmith. Though my family increased.. Get involved in an incident… With so much commotions… In the end, can I really enjoy my slow life quietly? ------------------------------ The novel is really a good read of slice of life of a man who reincarnated and had divine blacksmith skills. Its a light read that you can enjoy the adventures of the characters. Nothing really extraordinary happens, no epics battles. Just good old happy life in a forest. About the MC skills? Even a dagger made by him can slice through steel as if cutting vegetables. His family (Wives) grow and they enjoy their time. So far it's a Beastkin Cat girl, a dwarf and a human as of chapter 60. Who live with him and help him out. Its kinda cool that his shop is in the middle of a forest and he only accepts requests if the person who wants the sword personally goes to him. There is also a manga being drawn My Quiet Blacksmith Life in Another World
Thats... sad news. I may as well become only bones by the time they finish translating it. Whats the point of translating a novel if you release like 1 volume every few years
Hello! We have already released 3 volumes of this series since we announced the license in November 2021. Which is actually faster than the original fan translator was going even when they weren't RIP. So to answer your question seriously: The point of licensing a novel is to translate it _faster_ and release it _faster_ than a fan translation, I guess? You could have at least clicked the link and see that we're already well along through volume 4's translation...
When does he meet the demon king and hero and create their swords? What chapter is that in the novel???
By novel updates, yes. It stopped updating September of last year. Good luck trying to find new translators with an official English licensing, though!
