So i just brought a new phone for 2 months now, and i see some glitches on the Gboard /Google keyboard in my phone. Sometimes what i wrote is wrong cuz my fingers are too big, and im using the recommendation word to fix it. I've turn off my auto correct cuz that's annoying. And glitches starts showing lately. Like, i want to wrote "i've". Cuz i wrote it "iv", and want to correct it to "I've" but the outcome is "ivI'". And "recomendations" to "recomenrecommen". What the heck is happening. So i want to download a new keyboard app, any recommendations?
Is it set to english? or maybe you have a custom dictionary? If you want to keep the same keyboard, but install it as new, Google has their GBoard app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin&hl=en_US

weird, that reccomendation glitch just happened starting today in my phone too and my phone is already 5 years old. I thought the problem was gboard update itself.
... Same issue, recently picked up a new tablet and due to fat thumbs my vowels get typed as numbers... not a glitch just fat thumbs. So yeah, I wouldn't mind a few options for a new keyboard as well.
SwiftKey? Only issue I had with it is that it suddenly lost my layout after an update today. Aside from that, never had a problem with it and I always install it on all my phones. And yes I got more than just 2 phones
Only been using touchpal keyboard cuz that's already on the default settings on my phone. But It has a resize option where you could enlarge the keys so maybe that would help you with your keys are too small for my big thumbs problem.
I use classic keyboard app, much better than gboard. Bigger keys and no recommendation/autocorrect stuff
