You could do the web novel without contacting anyone. Skywood is light novel, they don't have any hold on the web. Just make sure to say its web novel and make a difference page on NU, or else you'll get cursed out by readers. I've seen it happen before. It might also be best to start from the beginning. The light novel may have different characters and events.

Author wants Eru to be a shota trap till the end. Also not everyone gets a growth spurt. Do remember this is a different world were talking about. Also if he grows up suddenly from his current size, it removes the base problem that the silhouette knights are too big for him.

Well I like shota eru, it makes things more funny and gives this novel something to stand out from the other novels, and his mother is pretty and small in relation to man, while eru is even smaller then her if i remember correctly.
Well the shota thing doesn't have a big impact on the novel so it really has no meaning, it just a personal though of mine. But his mom is smaller in normal frame sense not in a dwarve sense, besides hasn't he been trained by his father in swordmanship, I don't think he stopped training his body in the academy it even for the fact to create a body capable of supporting driving a powerfull Silluete knigth.
Just glanced through vol 4 again: they only mentioned that Eru has a girly face once; and mentioned directly or indirectly that he is small-sized 3 or 4 times. The later books don't make a big deal out of his looks.
Well the new chapter is out, wondering if Eru plans on upgrating the current knigths of his bridge to imcorporate flight capacity.

true, but there probably will be times that they will have to fight without sk, I mean eru is impossible to beat inside the ikaruga so the enemies will probably try to get him before he is inside any sk, like that assassination attempt before, the challenge is to make him stay away from a sk for more than five minutes! XD
Yes beside I though the character of Ady (the male twin) and the Wild princes were been developed more in the direction martial prowress capabilitys that piloting skill.
