The title of Neet is not just earned by your actions but also by your disdain for going outside. It is holy title for those of the internets!

    So he just had it.

When in elementary school, his first love and childhood friend promised him: "When we grow up, let’s get married."

During the summer of his third year in middle school, he saw that same girl riding behind a delinquent upperclassman’s bike. Unable to say anything, he no longer wanted to attend school and immersed himself in net gaming.

Huh, no. A NEET is not a hikkikomori, it's just someone that doesn't do anything.

And young characters like Kazuma or Subaru hardly fit since they neither have any delinquent behaviour nor are shut-ins.

To a virginity freak middle schooler, being NTRed is nothing less than a nightmare.

hah, well, shit. You could at least plot world domination in your free time.

P.S. I've been a NEET already for 2 years. And now I'm a university freshman. And it's killing my will to live

P.P.S. The acronym NEET was first used in the United Kingdom but its use has spread to other countries including Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

That's a better reason imo. There's enough margin to claim self righteousness.

Huh, what are you studying that's so hard to bear? I've been pretty good up to now personally, there isn't that much work in uni and no one is forcing you to assist to all classes or shit like that.

I don't have any resources or connections to execute any plan for world domination, so I stopped thinking about it ...
P.S. I started university and then I became a NEET; in my 2nd year NEET now : (
