Korean novels do have the best female characters. They mostly don't have the annoying traits of Japanese FCs, or the glorifying of scheming characters (both male and female) that Chinese novels have. Unfortunately, that just makes it more frustrating when the male MC just ignores them. Seriously! Koreans have potentially the best harem stories of any culture, but I'm not sure you should even call them "harem" stories because the MC immediately ditches all his beautiful female admirers to go grinding.

Korean have always been excellent artist. No doubt about that. For me each country has their own little quirks that stand out. I won’t say the Koreans are the best, but you can’t argue how GREAT they are.

You are particularly correct in some point, like the percentage of "properly developed and having emotion" women compared to the rest of them in Korean novel But, Korean novel also have most of the bitchy and fuckin slut in their own genre
Honestly, Korean and Chinese waifus are mostly average tier. Almost none stand out besides them looking good, it's really rare for one to become more than an accessory. They can't touch the top tier Japanese waifus.
China: higher than thou / cool blooded FLs. Japan: One dimensional wish fulfillment waifus. Korea: Realistic FLs. I kinda prefer well written female characters from chinese novels tho. They have more 'depth' and character insight. Cue: Ze Tian Ji, The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage and Chu Wang Fei. P.S: Someone give me the sauce of those webtoons pls.

Even their pornhwa got really amazing waifus (as long as you avoid the NTR ones, those usually have that surreal style of somewhat realistic). Try Close As Neighbors and Pheromone-holic, these two are just amazing.
They are more realistic hence more relatable I guess? Compare to female leads in Chinese novel who falls in love with the MC for no reason... It's also a plus that they dont act excessively stupid~
