I think that she respects people's decisions to live their lives their own way for their own reasons. That's why she let Blow get killed by the Hero.

When she told Wrath and Vampire-Girl about her plans she let them decide whether they want to follow or oppose her. She didn't want them to oppose her but didn't seem to think that doing so would be pointless.

 

Hmm, no surprise he has more conviction, you know, with his wake up call being cannibalism (not even sure anymore, it's been a while) and made a slave.
Instead of you know... getting scared of a monster.

Yeah, Shun' s most recent chapter had me disappointed. He didn't seem to be like this back when his party killed the dragon in the Labyrinth, but now he's all "every monster I've killed is a sin that will never be cleansed from my soul". If monsters were just animals I could see being a bit guilty, but animals usually don't go straight to aggression; there's a reason they're "monsters" and not "animals".

I can't help but wonder how much is his natural naivete, and how much is a result of his Kindness skill. After all, even Kanata and the other reincarnators don't seem to be as...conflicted as Shun is.

 

The chapter is named kindness.....

 

I know, but we aren't sure exactly how much of his actions/thoughts are a result of the skill, even though it's presumably a lot. I'm still hoping Shiro will reveal the corrupting effects of Ruler skills to them soon.

Yeah, I thought he backed down pretty well; I'm wondering if he maybe knows from Shiro about Shun having Kindness and how it might affect him.

I do recall Shiro explained to both Sophia and Wrath about how Ruler skills corrupt people who don't have Heresy Nullity, which is why she emphasized their training of it. Wrath also sort of experienced it first hand with his rampage as well.

 

I think he was pained from the fact he had to kill someone he knew then have his best friend rub it in.

 

How more chapters is left in your opinion guys???
