http://blastron01.tumblr.com/post/128092878250/im-a-spider-so-what-001 Start here. There are various "side stories" which are denoted as "s1" or "oni 1" and so on, but yes they're translated in the correct order you should read them. Just ignore Turbo's translations cause he dropped it. Also, Blastron does have a next button at the bottom.
Yeah, from what I hear blastron version is higher quality, and has been released up to chapter 107, so far.
Any translations released by blastron are a re-translation of the original with higher quality. They're not caught up yet though, so for now I'd ignore them.
Turb0 translated first, then stopped. Raising the Dead basically took over from there. Then blastron went back and redid from the start at better quality, from what I understand. Like Xilph said, anything with chapter numbers is Kumo-chan's persepective and from there there are short stories, typically SS1, SS2, and oni v vampire, things like that instead of chapters because they are different from chapters, they are like excerpts, it is like two different stories coming together, and this is how they are being distinguished.
Turbo was a god, and I still honestly like the way he translated it even if it was more messy. It felt like a reflection of Kumoko-chan herself.
Ok so in the beginning it was done by turbo translations and all by them are in order then from then out i think a couple people started to translate for a while until raising the dead kept it. Also blastrons redoing the beginning ones. Personal opinion: While people say blastrons translations are better (grammar wise they are) I honestly think that turbos versions makes the characters thoughts flow better. I don't know why I can't read the original language so I can't compare but I find turbos more enjoyable to read Ps. And turbo used to do what 3 chapters every weekday (God status- acheived)
Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka has a weird story development because it loves to narrate events from other perspectives. Especially as the side stories started getting longer, like the human demon great war sidestory, which had like 5 parts, or the elf village battle, with its 11 parts the story got sidetracked, and events now feel like they are being repeated. However, I still think the novel is best read in the authors writing order, which is the one you'll find on any of the TLs websites. I suggest reading blastotron up to where he's translated, then read the turb0 translations, then RTDs. Turb0's translation quality is somewhat messy, rife with grammatical errors, but the chaos does feel much like kumo's train of thought. Blastotron's translations are more fluid and less chaotic, developing the cutesy atmosphere better than turb0's.
When reading through Turb0's I found it easier to bookmark the table of contents, or just hit the back button and click the next unread chapter in the sidebar.
Order of chapters are the same. So it really doesn't matter which translation you start at. By the time Bastron started, I was waaaaaaay up there so I wouldn't know his quality except from heresay. Raising the Dead is the current up to date translator.
Simple question, does the mc ever get the ability to transform into a human (basically like any beast in xianxas once they get powerfull enough) Or will she always be a spider? I mean one of the tags is beautiful female lead and on the picture you can see both a spider and a human female so i would assume she gets to transform into a human at some point but you never know so i figured i'd ask to make sure.
yes, iirc, her evolution route will eventually lead to archne that have 2 "version", upper body female-lower body spider and "normal" female human
Simple answer is yes. She eventually has a upper half human, lower half spider, and later after that, normal human.
