maybe next chapter will be flashback time about why heinz is like this....was his parents zealots and rascists?did his family become undead and he convinced himself that undead are bad to end them and has been traumatized since(notice how heinz seems to particularly hate undead,and keeps talking about how they SHOULD RETURN TO THE CIRCLE OF REINCARNATION,and how he didn't consider van's others subordinates a threat to humanity but oh forbid the undead!),I like to think maybe he is like kouki amonogawa from arifureta,he is insane but has talent so no1 can make him understand that.

 

Eeeeh, is less pulling a Kouki (who at least his lady friends knew he was pretty shallow and dissapointing) who is correct, knows he is correct, people tells him he is correct, and is enabled by a lot of people which became worse by literally being the Hero, but isn't right (that was Belltard's btw), and more Heinz having a messiah complex which a lot of people with political power enabled for their own convinience, which at the end of the day amounted to nothing, something I think he realized the moment someone who could prove he was full of shit and told it to his face (Van). Of course, this became worse after the fact that the Super Duper Ultimate Hero Bellwood was a selfish asshole, so the moment he could latch onto anything vaguely heroic to justified all the shit he did, namely, learning Van consumed 99% of Gudu, he never let go and made it his 'sacred mission' to 'protect the world'. This also became the worse possible outcome for him with Alda being Alda.

And all this I'm pretty sure is also in part Van's Abyss's fault. Specificaly the whole "may your enemies beware of becoming monsters" part.

Hell, Alda wasn't that bad at the start, yes, he was Lawful Stupid still, but not 'muh holi mishun' stupid.

 

abbyss is a dangerous and double edged ability, because it will make your enemies go to extremes to defeat you, but it will also cause them to leave a lot of openings, it is like a berserker mode without buffers.

i think i like heinz like this, he's schneider, without some kind of special lineage or selective breeding, just a talented guy a little different in nature than the others

I know i am biased but i think it Zadiris, since you know, she want to get rid her Princess title in his race, the good way is to get Empress of Vandal title after she married and rank up after she did her job as Empress.

As for official fiancées, Levia, Zandia, Privel, I can’t remember Arachne girl’s name, Myuze are all actually engaged. Did the dwarf girl ever actually get engaged or was it just a thing she wanted? I still feel like I’m forgetting someone though.
