Hello. I have free time nowadays and I want to learn korean. I have a month of vacation now and I plan to study korean in this month, and after it I will join the korean translations here (with the help of MT), which will also help me learning more and more. so this is my plan, Is it possible? and if someone know a good place to start I will be grateful.
First end this one month learning and then decide if this is enought. Because its realy dependent your talent of learning, how much per day, etc
Nope, while not Korea n I studied Chinese for a month and while I can speak something, faced with a wall of characters I can barely recognize a few words and then others don't mean the same since is other context. One month is too little time at least half a year is necessary
in only a month you will learn a basic of language to use language what have diffrent leters is much harder than with the same letters so you must work hard to do it and i thnik that 1 month is too litte for most poeple to do it
You may as well just machine translate now because one month won’t make a difference. That can’t even be called learning because you’ll be near completely dependent on the tool. I never understood the point of jumping into translating when one can just use that time to learn for themselves properly. Phrasing it in a coherent sentence and editing your work on top of deciphering an mtl only seems to delay progress.
