This chapter shows the thoughts of every person and frankly I was surprised by Rulan's analysis, I didn't expect her to be so clear headed, did she learn from her mother's failures? because I didn't think she was always so... so clear headed. I also felt that Wang shi still wanted to push minglan in liang's household, or what was she up to when she asked minglan those questions?

The actor for Gu Tingye and the actress for Minglan got married in real life after this TV show, also they already have their baby, hahahaha. It's said that Gu Ting Ye is 10 years older than Minglan when they get married. And when they marry, Minglan is just 15 years old, sooo young.

 

Can someone tell me what is the deal with Cao Jinxiu, He Hongwen and their mothers? Are they going to create troubles for Minglan?

no, they won't cause trouble for minglan. she doesn't end up marrying him, so it's not her problem. and anyway, he hongwen's grandma puts her foot down on their bullshit anyway, because the cao family would be a poison to whatever legitimate marriage he gets.

there will be some awesome logical take downs by minglan tho, while we think she'll marry him.

she later finds out her husband orchestrated this whole thing to piss Old Madam Sheng off, so she'd be more receptive to marrying her favorite granddaughter to him. xD when i say "orchestrated" i mean, originally the Cao family would have taken longer to get there and minglan would have had to deal with this shit as a married woman, with now way out... now tho, she dodged a bullet instead~

Wow, this is Minglan in the drama. She is absolutely what Minglan should be like in my heart.

 

In ancient times, Minglan is really a lucky girl who can meet her true lover, even though this is not so fluent. Please describe more interactions between Minglan and Gu Tingye.
