3 Lives 3 Worlds did pretty good I think. Journey of Flower deleted or toned down scenes but the general storyline was pretty intact. There's a few other webdramas floating out there too. @Ruyi I saw your playlist and felt like crying... Baili Mingxiang is a good girl...so why was she merged with the white lotus? Huhuhu I think watching Legend of Yunxi needs a mindset of "having not read Poison Genius Consort" at all so I won't feel like throwing things at the monitor. Ouyang Ning something is a smart, serious girl but they made her like a teenager who hadn't who couldn't let go of the person she likes.
At this point I'm treating the drama as a standalone from the novel! It'll be fun to spot what and which details they've taken from the novel itself, but yeah, expect more fluff and whatnot there. Am also going to sub all 48 episode previews (they're all out btw) so stay tuned for that in a separate playlist~ Whee.

Yup. But I did notice that actor for ML can surely stand as straight as a rod. But second ML disappointed me. Sigh.
HAHAHA ABOUT THAT The actor mentioned it too, how this role is the straightest he's stood in all his dramas. There was even a comparison pic on his Weibo once upon a time. Second ML is actually a combination of 2 novelverse characters, so he might be different than the book, yepyep.
Acting wise, everyone seems to be calm and at ease while Long Feiye just looks so tense all the time. But I’m already sold on the character just based on his glares and eye-rolling.
Huh, the kind doctor isn’t seen in the first few episodes. I miss the man in red. But who’s he a combo of? I think I’m buying the ML’s acting. But, aaaa, unconscious people don’t walk. The first interaction scene between two main leads would have been much more laughable have MC tries to work with dragging him over.

Super woozy?? When I had internal bleeding because of a burst ovarian cyst, my god, it hurts. I could barley walk. So, I would assume his cut or poison or whatever he is infected with, would hurt like m**f** god that walking or moving is a very slow and hard task. That guy is so greedy, how can they put them together? If he’s the one I’m thinking about, the prince of Northern Li. If not, I don’t remember that guy right now
