So many things to retort to... I know Renga is only the captain of the guard, but I find both how Kenny addresses him and her attitude both rather lacking. Then again he is rather lax about many times so that might be taken into account. If security is an issue, why are we talking about their plans for Rei out in the open of a publicly accessible buildung, and at the guild counter no less where someone could just stand behind you in line... these guys are way to lax and the spies must have it rather easy, no wonder their information is leaked like water thrue a sieve.
I don't see a problem with Kenny addressing Ranga, he is only a captain of the guard, not a captain of the knights. And they are probably well acquainted as the guard probably uses adventurers quite a lot (that and adventurers getting in trouble here and there) As for lax security, well duh. Even the whole thing about bringing the captives to the guard house instead of the knights screams lack of security.(Even Rei says the guardhouse is meant for petty criminals and lacked proper protection) That is way outside the guards paygrade to handle. The guard would rather escort them to the knight headquarters than their own.
Does Rei deal with that holy light religion that's been targeting him? He mentioned back in 900s that he would leave the country if holy light religion came after him since the religion has deep rooted itself in the Kingdom.
I don't know anything about any religion in this, the Bestir Empire keeps coming after him though....
considering were at chapter 244 i think thats a spoiler lol. id try looking for a legend's spoiler thread to find your answer, if it even has one.
Honestly in my most sincere opinion, I don't think the current translator will ever finish at the rate they are going now. Since the releases by the author is practically DAILY and the translator has a very consistent release rate around 1 chapter per week, which is very good for any translator to have, we would need upwards of 8 or more translators working 24/7 together to even start to catch up. we may die before it is finished. best case is wishing for the light novels to get licensed. meaning this series needs an anime.
finally heading towards the war arc soon, can't wait to see him back with the princess. hope their relationship makes some actual progress while their together, also i wonder if he ever brings her back to the tower he woke up in to get her own spirit beast.
I suppose that depends on if his body is constructed from magic itself or enhanced biological material. New town new problems. Bets on how long until a local gets into a fight not knowing he is Crimson?
hahahahahahhaha i was wondering the exact same thing. actually i even asked a translator who uploads chapter everyday to just take over the series since with the current TL it might reach years to caught up with the raw. well sadly, rather obviously, that other TL didnt take it. unfortunate. sometimes i wish there is a kind enough person to just arrange an order of hundreds of chapters to a good TL and release it. but alas. current TL just take too long man. not that im being ungrateful or anything like that. it is only a sincere wish of mine as a Legend fan to read more of this.
Well to translate this novel (which is unusually long for a japanese one) we need somebody on the level of those chinese wuxia translating machines (that translates tons of chapters per day)
Wuxia is easier to translate, at least the long (thousands of chapters a year) ones, since it has a lot of repetitive paragraphs. It's like a school essay, they put in a lot of filler, there's significantly less of that in jp novels like this one.
