Toilet paper is saying a lot about modern people. Not too long ago people didn't used that. Only, they don't remember. Or don't want to remember. Living in comfort is bringing only pollution when multiplied.

I’ve never had them. But it does look good. And I don’t think it’ll be that hard to make from the description I’ve seen.

I’m thinking I should keep a lot of instant noodles at home from now on. Even after this whole virus thing.

Ai-chan would hoard coffee beans. Processed coffee beans almost never goes bad, unless if you put it under the sun without cover for like 2 years maybe. The coffee beans Ai-chan bought in 2002 is still good now.

Coffee is great for many things!

1) It regulates your stomach acid, so that you don't keep losing nutrients to indigestion.
2) It helps you shit out all the things you need. Yes, Ai-chan knows this contradicts number 1, but not everything you eat is actually what you need.
3) It helps increase your metabolism level, so that your body is better equipped to deal with illnesses.
4) It warms you up. In the snowy winters of Hokkaido, drinking coffee is necessary.
5) Grinding coffee beans by hand is a great family bonding experience.
6) It helps you piss out all the toxins in your body.
7) It protects you from male-pattern baldness.

 

Absolutely. Although I was never diagnosed. But I definitely have several “ticks” that I do. Washing hands is just one of them. Probably many people have some form of OCD as well. Mine is pretty mild, I think. Though looking at some things my mom is doing once she got older, I have a feeling my “illness” will be much worse as I get older.

you would be surprised at how dependant people are of their smokes and how much tobacco is grown in and around the state I live in.
even if people couldn't get their own brand or flavor they would settle for what they could get and we got a lot of tobacco to last us quite a while~

I imagine the social smokers would all quit (I was one of these and quit years ago) simply because it's not that big of an addiction to them.
the people who are like my brother, who get nicotine fits and headaches if they haven't smoked in a while, would begin to move to any other source of nicotine they could before they thought about quitting. ( for my brother it's a day without smokes before headaches start, the family has tried to get him to quit but it's been unsuccessful),

which is why I shall also hoard Nicotine patches!! for those who want to get clean or just those that want a smoke free fix~
also, I have a little herb and vegetable garden so I could probably just plant some tobacco in it while I am cornering the post-apocalyptic market on smokes.

This is true. Ai-chan had a friend who claimed to have been part of the group that was lost in the forest for over 3 months when they took a break from their studies. He claimed that the thing he missed the most were the cigarettes, so much so that when his last pack was empty, he took to drying local edible leaves and herbs. Then he used the dried leaves as wrapping paper and used the dried herbs as filling for his homemade cigarettes. He said the taste was horrible and he felt like a hippy elf, but it was good smoking and it sated the smokers in his group for the entire last 2 months.
