the translation to the novel is coming to an end. What are everyone’s thoughts on the novel? Personally I really like the novel. However JiYuan frustrated me for most of the novel. Bothered me that he wouldn’t admit to his feelings because he was determined to go back. But all the while stringing Ye Junchi along. I’m happy that their relationship has developed deeper, and I feel they are super cute couple. Also side note, I just love system. He is quite the sassy little thing

Noooo don't tell me it's ending!! I've actually stopped reading it for a bit since I felt the same as you; JY is frustrating as hell! His reasoning for not wanting to be with YJC makes sense and all, but OMG why go back to your shitty family and your empty life just for revenge?? I want you to have a happy ending, dammit! ...you're serious, it's ending? (Just note that I stopped reading when YJC turns into a snake and they willingly walk into the "trap" set to catch them).
Yeah There are 59 chapters and 5 extras. Translation is currently at chapter 54. Trust me I wanted to throat punch JiYuan so many times. But their relationship changes and they become cute and kinda PDA. So I’m hoping for a good ending with how it’s finally Going.
Ahahaha I never got to the point of wanting to throat-punch him, but I'm glad their relationship changes. I felt really bad for YJC. He obviously feels so much for JY and dotes on him so much. The many things he's done for JY is amazing, and as the ML he's probably one of my faves (hahah, even tricking JY into sleeping in the same room by getting spirits to scare JY was forgivable since he didn't go overboard). System is fun as well, but I think zerobaby from 7 deadly sins is probably my fave 'system' so far.
I like it. I'm not up to date on the latest chapters though. By the way, is it related to Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me by the same author?
That I am unsure. I haven’t read the other story yet. Though I plan too. I’ll look into it.. I like shared universes like all the novels that share the same universe in HHYL
