It would be nice if we could have a "personal notes" button next to each novel in our reading list. The notes would not be public, but only used to help users sort their novels. For example, I have 20 novels in my "to read" list, and every time I finish one I need to go back and read the reviews/ratings/genre to decide which novel I read next. If I could manually sort the order, or have a note button by each novel, I could quickly sort out which novel I wanted to read. Another example, there is a novel in my "to read" list that only gets good after 100 chapters. I want to have a note by that novel in particular, telling me to wait until there are maybe ~150 chapters before reading. One novel I originally enjoyed, and I've moved it down a few lists to something I barely pay attention to for a few reasons. I'll casually be browsing, and I'll see it and wonder why I dropped it. After starting back up where I left off, I realize why I nearly dropped it in the first place. So I waste time even on novels that I don't want to read. Just add it to the profile settings toggle list.
there was similar suggestion before da answer? someday~ there more important thing to do~ "To Do" List see?
"Here are some of the features I plan on implementing: http://forum.novelupdates.com/forums/suggestions-rss-feed-request-report-bugs.5/?prefix_id=8 Private ‘notes’ on series & also private notes in reading list Highlight/Hide Groups Group Tagging (similar to series tagging feature)" - October 2015 Damn, well hopefully he just forgot and this post will remind him...
This would be great to have. Since we can have so many lists (e.g. Dropped, On Hold, To Try, etc etc) I often forget why I put novels into the lists they're in. Months later I'll see a novel on a search and realize I've tried it before but can't remember at all what it's about or why it's in the list it's in. Especially can't be helped when there so many novels with a similar story/premise.
