It's interesting topic so let us rant let out the feeling u have hidden feelings about harem manga endings
When the ending didn't go the way u anticipated or wanted
Typically when the girl u liked didn't get chosen or the manga had some crap harem ending
Since I started this I shall add this taboo harem manga,, a manga where the people have read it subconsciously avoid it or forget about because of how notorious the ending is
THE WORLD ONLY GOD KNOWS
I can't even start ranting about
That's how disappointed I am at this manga
So let your inner demons out

 

I actually really liked the ending......

 

I was really rooting for Kanon!
Was banging my head when I read the ending

 

you realize that you my create your own ending
example:
create a fanfic alternative ending
simply imagine how you want to end and be sastified
burn your brain until you accept the ending
kill yourself (techically an ending, yours to be precise)

yeah i got like thirty chapters to the end and quit. Not sure why, ust dont like endings and i got lazy and i bookmarked but never went back to it. So spoil me fam, how it end?

 

I guess I will get involved here. I personally only liked one girl in this series. And the way she was rejected hurt me, but I figured it was better than never knowing or being led on. So I have to say, it ended rather well. It just means I can input myself into a fanfic and have her to myself. Hehe, win!

That ending never happened. Nor the goddess arc. Keima is, thus, continuing to capture girls to save his life.

 

I mean, a lot of people's opinions are that, even tho the girl he chose (can't remember the name) was frankly put: Boring and plain, she genuinely liked Keima for who he was, rather than what he said and did.

I mean, she wasn't even in my list of heroines or girls I liked in the story. But I can understand why Keima (and subsequently the author) would choose her over the others. He didn't need to save her for her to take "notice" of him. She always did but was just too scared to admit it.

 

I remember that I liked TWGOK as a whole, I don't remember the ending.
I don't really care about harems or whatnot, as long as I enjoy it it's good.

I love harem manga, but most of their ending are dissapointing. That's why VN's are the best.

 

Hey, like I said, I understand the reason why, but that doesn't mean I agree with it damn it!

 

How about ichigo 100% ending?

 

That could be said about Tenri as well. Heck the only reason she was interested in him is because the other girls were as well.

The girl he ended up with wasn't even there for 80% of the manga
She didn't even play a vital role
I don't understand how he ended up with her instead of the girl that he was hanging out with for like 90% of the manga
It was so disappointing
I would not recommend this to anyone
Its on my list of my biggest mistakes

It was long ago that I read it
But basically at the end he chooses one girl to stop all the other girl from chasing him
And the one he chooses is the most plain one
He choose her cause he couldn't manipulate her and she went against his plans
And other reasons like that

 

So Elucia got chosen in the end, huh? Well, I didn't really care all that much about this series, so I don't mind, but I understand your feelings. Ever since I read Sexless Friend in 2014, I've known that feeling. It was one of the first manga I read and I'm still salty about it. That one and Golden Time (the anime) are probably the two series that have made me hate the author, though at least in Golden Time you could see it by a mile that he would choose that girl, so it wasn't that bad. In Sexless Friend the manga basically only shows the best girl and the fucking author chose the bitch that barely showed up at all to be the one who ends with the protagonist...

Ah, the saltyness that such things leave you with...

 

These days its rare to find actual Harems, and the world around us is almost completely reliant on the one couple relationship model now, while it goes against most of our instincts, and in most cases leads to multiple relationships, which in the end is probably worse then a harem situation would be since you dont even get to stay with someone you love if they like another as well. Due to that most endings wont end well, it always comes down to a decision, which in the end is rather saddening. But these things normally take place in modern day school, so it gets pushed aside in most minds as puppy love.
