Let's Make a Community VN! [Need Artists]

If you didn't know, VN = Visual Novel, a type of novel that has visuals, sounds, and sometimes game elements!

No current story has been thought up of... but stuff like that can be done later if there's enough people interested~

Possible Ideas:

• Tony MC - PARTH route
• JP Isekai - some kind of twist, maybe demon king rerereincarnated?
• CN Xianxia - some kind of twist, maybe MC a JP reincarnee with JP personality but better?
• Invijible Panda VN version

Anyways, here are the possible roles:

Art people:

• Can draw Eastern-style
• Draws well

Music people:

• Can compose relevant genres of music (ie not dubstep or rap or something that probably won't come up)
• Makes nice-sounding music

Writing people:

• Fluent in English (ie not "I English good")
• Has time to write
• Writes well/writes interesting things

Program people:

• Can use Ren'Py (not to hard tbh)
• Has time to program
• Programs well

We should be able to do this with ~4 active people in each role!

If this VN ever becomes like Katawa Shoujo, Juniper's Knot, or Analogue: A Hate Story... maybe it is time to consider a hobby or career of writing books, animation, choir, or working for a game company.

You're leaving out auxiliary positions like project managers, editors and code checkers. Also, are you acting as the director or going to get someone else to do that?

 

I guess I can help with writing and proofreading.

 

As I don't think it'll be a big project, (ie maybe around 5 hrs?) I'll probably fulfill all those roles~
