No, but you can get links to free assets like background art, music, and even some character sprites if you get lucky~

Python eh? well never tried it but if I start reading some stuff on it, will probably be good enough in a week? I mean I heard it wasn't that hard of a language but just to make sure...

 

Definitely. I don't know how to code anything, but I taught myself how to use Ren'Py just by reading through the tutorials and the online cookbooks. It'll help if you've at least played a visual novel before so you understand things you need--like branching storylines or affection points, or choice menus, whatever the plot dictates.

Ren'Py also has its own tutorial VN that's included with the program when you download it. It's all very straightforward, so you'll get it as you go. The best thing is to try some coding yourself for practical practice~

 

I had forgotten it already had a lot of functions built in... guess It'll take a little less time? well reading a book to understand it better isn't a bad idea so still a week? but that's probably later... first is getting used

 

Ren'Py makes it all really simple~

IMO, it's slightly easier than drag + drop~

 

Remember, don't press Tab. Use four spaces for indentation. Python is very fussy about indentation and only likes spaces.
