Just a very quick anonymous survey. LGBT refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, etc. The full acronym is actually even longer, but I think at a certain point nobody bothers to keep track. Supposedly, 3.5% of the US population self-identifies as LGBT. I have no idea what the statistic is across the world (or on the Internet), or how it stratifies by age. For those who identify as LGBT (or personally know LGBT people) and are okay with sharing, what is your experience on the internet like? The internet is sort of infamous for being homophobic/mocking of LGBT people, and does that ever bother you? How do you respond, or how do you react to people who confront you about your identity, either in real life or online? EDIT: If you're uncomfortable with sharing directly on this thread, if it makes you feel better, you can PM me and I can copy your message anonymously to the thread. #lycheepostedanotherquestionagain
I give them a big fuck YOU. And tell them that is my fucking life so its my FUCKING business.this only applies when they are dicks about it.
I don't care. They can be a helicopter or whatever noun they can be. Just don't be a asshole. And in the internet you can be spawn of the devil underling or shit like that..
My lesbian and bisexual friend give zero fucks bout those things. But before that my lesbian friend got disowned by her parents which is sad. So she moved to her aunts house since she was the only one who supported her. She contemplated suicide but we and others somehow managed to keep her on track. Its nice to see her happy nowadays. It is sad how people keep judging others instead of trying to fix other things that neex our attention like pollution. Btw she and her parents still dont talk.
Probably not, since people read BL and yuri all the time without considering themselves LGBT. Thanks, that sounds difficult. I hope your friends continue to do okay.
You aren't? No wait.. so you're bi? Tell it to me straight, do you like the meat, like the buns, or like the whole hotdog?
I can't understand them. What's so good about liking men when you're a man? Well, I can understand lesbian though... such beautiful creatures... women.
I'm a straight female who's into male. Lol. I have a boyfriend I was only mistaken as lesbian cause of the way I dress: black shirt, pants and black rubber shoes
Everybody has different. Different tastes, different appearance, different believes, and different thoughts. It is okay not to being able to understand but it is not okay to harm people just because theu are different. Im asexual and i dont get why people get all horny over beautiful people.
Can't say I've ever been particularly bothered by my sexuality/gender. Am I male? Sure, until I can upload my consciousness into a better body. Am I straight? Sure, I like women, even if they have penises and want to anally/orally/aurally penetrate me. Would I tell my parents/boss? No, because that'll let them keep their own assumptions and avoid any awkward conversations. Do I care about anyone else's? Only if I'm trying to sleep with 'em.
