    Looks like Qidian have finally revealed their true colors.

    Remember when they launched QI and they said they weren't going to DMCA or anything and would work with the community rather than against it? They've followed that well lmao.

    Hello age of DMCAs and Qidian monopolising, goodbye fantranslating.

    All the people weighing in about "I don't care as long as I get to read". This is like saying you don't gaf what happens to the environment as long as you can live your life out well.

    As far as I see it this was actions taken by a few translation groups, WW is made up of many translation groups. Your actions seem to be to tear down WW as you don't gain profit if people aren't coming to your site. Rather than punishing the few and GT you instead take it out on all of them at WW trying too kill your website competition.

    I can see Qidian roping in all the translators and killing off all their competitors. Once you succeed you will start monetizing for novel chapters. In no way do I see Qidian as being a good guy coming to the party to help spread Asian novels, rather it is a rogue setting out too take away from the people and profit off of it.

    I don't like reading on Qidian, the infinite novel loading kills my browser until it crashes. Also getting to novel chapters isn't as quick as I would like. WW is a great place to read from.

    If Qidian actually cared about this community, they wouldn't use the threat of legal action to force translators to join them.

    You're threatening legal action against the translators you expect to work for you? Seriously?

    They've proven that they're only in this for a cash grab. Mark my words, within a couple of months we will have a subscription or paywall model on QI.

    Wuxiaworld stands for free translations for people to read. Qidian's goal here is to eliminate the competition, so there are no (or fewer) free alternative sites to go to when they paywall!

    Please wake up and see the truth.
