Well hang in there is almost done soon.

 

So I know we are currently in Volume 8 and there are 10 volumes in total. I keep changing the number of chapters left (to 250+) but I guess people keep changing it back to 202 or some other number. I am not sure how many chapters there are in total since LightNovelCafe divides them in her own way. I think she buys the books rather than per chapter as well. I am not 100% positive though. All I can say is with 3 chapters/week we should be getting closer to completing the novel! I know we had a large break from releases but she still kept translating whenever she could. So we should be able to release 3ch/week for a while!

 

That's great to know I actually enjoy more reading a batch that chapter by chapter.

 

So caugth up with this now, a big revelation in chapter 214, So if I got this rigth, humanity in some dimention in a far foward time managed to create the A-Virus and from there the Body reinforcement technology to create Supermen. Since they were curious on who would fare better in the world between the Mutants (representing A-Virus) and Lifers (Body Reinforcement) they opened a portal to an adyacent dimesion in the past and released the virus that created the mutants, then created the game to train prospects, inject them with the body reinforcement technology and let then loose in the terrain of the mutants to see who will survive???

 

I'm still at 156 but with chap 214 added, they used the virus as a medicine. Common practice in pharmaceutical practice. Because of the discovery of A virus, they sealed the mutation and used it as body modification to create super human. This is what i got from 155 and 156. Thats why Jun Sung has a small amount of virus in his system. Oriax just released the seal and awaken him to his powers.

Yes but when you reach that chapter you will read the discution between the management they saud that Life Mission is an experiment to test wich one of the two is superior to the other, the Mutants with their freely agumantation and survival of the fittest mentality or the Lifers stronguer by a great marging that the previously known humans (still weaker that the truly strong mutant) with advanced technologie and some semblence of reason and structures stablished. I think they are debating wich path they should take.

 

I read the first chapter a few weeks back and I could not follow the story.
Is it just me or is it supposed to not make sense?

 

You need to have your mind hardwire for it, but ask what didn't make any sense to you and maybe I can help you understand.

 

Yup. They either have a full evolution with the mutants as the result, or have a human with enhanced capabilities. The difference, in my perspective, is that mutants only few have their reasonings and intelligence starting at level 5/6, but with great cost (70-80% of population); with body modification, they can still maintain their reasoning, decision making, etc., and not rely on instinct alone.

No its only you have that kind of symptoms, the possible answer for that one is you are forcing yourself to read something that is really not your liking, or you can't even relate to the story.

 

I think so as well, I migth even consider that their numbers are dwelling and even if Bodymodification makes them stronguer and at the time long lived, with the mutants vitality they migth able to reproduce exponentially, its just that the risk is high they will lose their reasons and star eating each other. I was even considering the posibility of Alien intervation but it seems thats is not the case.

 

Finally done with the latest chapter. My take on this is..... it needs a proof reader or an accountant. Why? Since the billion point is introduced to the novel, it started to get confusing. Sometimes its million, billion or trillion. One of the chapter even has 30,000,000,000 (which is a billion btw), the next paragraph says its trillion. If Rachel Riley read this, she will flip the table (8/10 cats does countdown reference).

 

Wow.. now jun sung evolved into black asura..
Now I want him to intergrate his mecha into his special evolution..
Mutant evolution is good and all. but as expected, it wasnt complete without the mecha part.
