Yep! I especially like it when the MC gets in trouble (sometimes dies) and ML suffers and regrets. It's sad, but satisfactory in a way. But don't get me wrong. Here's to hoping for an HE despite everything
Absolutely true. This is the main reason I like 'Unrepentant'.If you read chinese hetero novels might read it . Despite it being so so angsty and heartwenching . Till the time ML comes to know of MC's death its too late for regret.Another angsty one i like is the 'mulberry song'
I usually don't read hetero novels since most of the plot's not my cup of tea, but I'm currently looking to be tortured right now, so thanks for the recommendation!

Well, if you want to read an angsty bl novel, where ML got truly grief-stricken and guilty then there is one here in NUF that is completed... i forgot the name, but it is the one where MC was undercover to find evidence against ML, ML found out and the tragedy happens... MC was so pitiful, i cried a river... i know that someone here knows it, but i'll search for it again...

omg, this seems like the perfect "heartbreak but still can't stop reading" type novel that i like. and it's emotional and not every love rival is awful. this one sounds actually quite nice! the misunderstandings, the bad acts from MC bc of jealousy and love, then the guilt of ML when he realises it's too late, etc. I LOVE IT!!!! i already liked the setting of My Wife always thought i didn't love him and loved how the MC there wanted to avoid ML. But this one sounds even more tragic and i really, really wanna know how it continues!! but pls tell me it's HE?? bc if it's BE, my heart couldn't take it...
