    The Kind Death God, the Mc, makes it for me.

    DD, i just couldn't get that far i just hate that female lead, that female archtype bugs the hell out of me, one of the reasons i dropped the BTTH.

    CD - Got me in this xianxia things
    ISSTH - for me, this is the best xianxia with all of the elements in xianxia merge in this novel. the alchemy arc is, so far, the best !!!

    and the last one is "instant kill", but the translator hasn't updated for months

    that's all the xianxia i have in my reading list

    I haven't read Virtuous Wife but I agree with you that with more chapters it would also be fighting for my favorite xianxia with ISSTH.
