Little Dragon As A Moderator

Now it is obvious what you are thinking. You must be thinking this is some sort of spam thread Little Dragon has created out of boredom. But I assure this is no spam thread. This is quite serious. Now this was no easy decision to come to for me. I have joked about his subject in the past but this time as I have stated is no joke. I understand that being a mod is a challenge and is not all fun and games. However, I am ready to take up this challenge.

There are various reasons that I believe I could serve as a effective moderator and why I am more deserving than other people. First and foremost, the time I have spent on NUF. I believe I have spent more time on NUF than 95% of Nuffians. I have a dedication to this site that few others have been able to match. In my time on NUF I have seen the Rise and Fall of Titans of NUF... Some of you must be thinking right about now about my recent lack of activity. This is lack of activity has various factors, including: a vacation, being busy, and to be honest a recent loss of passion for NUF. However this is does not mean that my love for NUF has dwindled in any way. It merely means that I am lacking the motivation and energy to be as active as I have been in the past. I believe that becoming a moderator will rectify this loss of passion and will give me new purpose(in the NUF portion of my life).

Another reason I believe I would serve as an effective moderator is that I am fairly received by the community. I have mostly kind in my dealing with other Nuffians and have built up good relationships with many of the users here. Even the members that I don't know(which I feel is a minority) so well I still attempt to be kind to. Throughout my time here I have met many people and which each new wave of members I have made new friends and new relationships. Connections that I hope will not fade. Sadly in my time here some of my dear friends have left NUF. They have moved one in some shape or form. Hopefully onto something better. As I have said earlier I have seen the Rise and Fall of Titans of NUF. To summarize I believe I have a good connection with the community.

I also believe that I could handle the responsibility of being a mod. I think I would be fair but could also handle being scrutinized for my decisions. I know being a mod isn't all fun and games. I realize it will actually be work and I am fine with that. And I know I have been a rule breaker in the past(not really but once or twice) I have changed. I have matured.

Another reason I believe I should be a mod: I have actually read the rules. I admit it was fairly recently but I have so... yeah. Also I went through the effort of typing this... so... yeah.

Finally, I think I should be a moderator because despite all of the annoyance and anguish this community had caused me... I love it.

Now I doubt this will be taken seriously by anyone and if it is cool. And if it isn't that's fine too. I was bored and decided to do this instead of sleep. It was something that was weighing on my mind and decided to put it out there and see how people responded. Any response to this thread is a good one in my book. If it's taken seriously, great. If it is a huge joke thread, awesome. And if it gets lost in the wind... hey, that's maybe just as good. Anyways let me know what you think. I am going to bed and will read your responses in the morning.
