As previously mentioned, after Cheng Qian's death, YZM's guilt and long-suppressed affection for CQ becomes his Heart Demon. He continues to struggle with this Heart Demon during the events after CQ's return, especially as he grows stronger cultivationally. Finally, during a battle, CQ and YZM fall through a dimensional crack and land in a valley buried under Fu Yao Mountain. This valley is aptly named "Heart Demon Valley", and it exacerbates YZM's heart demon. CQ peers into YZM's soul. He realizes that YZM's heart demon takes the form of... Cheng Qian. If I remember correctly, CQ is like "wtf YZM why didn't you say so earlier", and kisses him. YZM still struggles to believe that CQ actually likes him (as opposed to just helping him appease his heart demon), but the two cement their relationship right after. Sadly this is Priest we're talking about and since the situation remains dangerous, the two don't get the opportunity to have /that/ many lovey-dovey moments together lol. YZM in general is a really fun character: he's always proud with that hint of narcissism, and doesn't back down from any danger when it comes to saving Cheng Qian or anyone else. But he believes he's an incompetent coward, and deep-down he always questions why Shifu left Fu Yao sect to him, whether Cheng Qian could ever like him, etc. Man I just love both CQ and YZM in general. Hmm I don't exactly remember this scene--either I read too fast and missed it, or it's in one of the extras I haven't read yet. I'll keep checking.
And I thought I skimmed too fast and missed it-- I MTL'd up to 85-86 and quickly started skimming through it for CQ and YZM moments...

I must say that I am extremely concerned too. The group of translators engaged in this novel was very, very good. Even to me, with my bit of knowledge of English, it was very pleasant to read. But it's not only that! Since I have a strong craving for certain kinds of novels, the moment when I found Liu Yao among them was akin to a miracle for me. In one evening I "ate" thirty chapters, reading each line with gusto. This story so amazed and captivated me that I feel wounded in my heart. My knowledge of Chinese is almost zero, and the Google translator (sorry, artificial intelligence, dude!) Cannot give the full picture that I'm so thirsty for. To my surprise, for a long time I did not feel such a strong break-up and the need to continue reading, as now. As an bookaholic, I reflect on it every day.

Oh no it's being dropped? Ah i should have checked when it ended but the first review was amazing so i decides to read it even though the summary didn't say much. Oh well, I don't regret it. This novel was rly delicious.
