Recommendations Looking for a good RoyalRoad Novel for a new guy

well fics on top rate have around 5k votes so you can be pretty sure that they are good…
but some may dont fit well with you, for example, i dont love sci-fi .-.

 

You should check out novels by Andur. They are very good.

Falling Star of Evolution

 

I've only read most of the top rated ones but here's what I liked and some info about it

The Iron Teeth: The Goblin's Tale - It's a story about a goblin (duh) I'm still in the middle of reading it but it's excellent so far. The little goblin is quite funny and from what posts that I've seen

there's evolution in this story.

The Good Student - A breath of fresh air in a room that's full of combat focused novels. It's a story with good world building and a different type of MC.

The Arcane Emperor - A Mage MC, has harem(?), and is quite an entertaining read.

Wandering Inn - A story that doesn't have op characters. It focuses on character interactions, touching moments, and character development. The mc might frustrate you at first but it's definitely a good read.

Everybody Loves Large Chests - LitRPG heavy with sexual content. If you're into that this might be a good read as it's funny, intriguing and has a shameless MC.

The Beginning after the End practically moved to gravity if I remember correctly

 

They kind of follow a template though, once you notice that, it isn't all that fun for binge or rereading. But that is just my opinion

 

Yeah... Plus they pissed off rrl admins when he would just post links to the chapters on gravity I think

 

That was multiple authors I think... Or at least, it was more about how the author reacted to RRL enforcing its rules than the deed itself that was causing the drama

 

True, it's been awhile since I even thought about it.. didn't the author disappear for a while? I remember waiting for updates on his site

 

I don't really know, I dropped it before that. When the MC got punished for saving people by killing someone that a mass amount of eyewitnesses could confirm as evil, that was the one that broke it for me.
