Yep. I'm bored. I'm looking for a decent - good LitRPG to pass my time. I'm reading/have read The Legendary Mechanic, Abyss Domination, King of the Battlefield, Main Character Hides His Strength, all Toika stories along with quite a few other translated novels. In Royalroad I'm reading/have read Azarinth Healer, Magic Smithing, Undead, Wake of the Ravager, Defiance of the Fall, Shovels in Spades, Delve, The New World, and a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head. Please recommend me your favorite LitRPGs. I prefer stories Weak-to-Strong stories more than starting as strong stories but I can handle the latter as long as there is growth in the MC's power. Both short and long stories are fine. Edit: No VR or MMO novels please. Transported into a game world types are great but I can't read about an MC playing the game.
I know about that one but could never go past the first chapter. How good is the system compared to ... say Night Ranger? How is the pacing of the story?
Yeah, sorry, just checked the Author myself. I'm too bad at remembering names... I did enjoy Breakers and Praise the Orc, though I'm not sure if they are available again at Wuxiaworld >_>
Yeah. Not remembering names is something I am very good at too. I know Breakers. I stopped reading at some point - dunno why. I'll give Praise the Orc a try. Thanks. Edit: Oh wait. It's a VR/MMO novel. I don't like those. I'd rather read a transported into a game world type of novel. But thanks anyway.
Then I'd say give “Max Level Newbee“ or “Rise of the Shield Hero“ a shot. The first one being a different take to the whole transmigration trope, the second one's more “standard“ but a good read never the less - and finished, too
I have read Max Level Newbie and I kinda don't like Shield Hero for some reason lul. Thanks for your repeated replies tho. Much appreciated.
Overgeared if you can get past 100 chapters but the mc is still dumb makes the same mistakes over and over again but theres pretty good fights and depth in story, its just the character of the mc that really makes its bad(tho it gets better although very slowly) its like a 3.5 rating give it a try if u dont have anything to read
Better than the Night Ranger, hell I even considered The Amber Sword > Abyss Domination, Advent of the Archmage, Night Ranger.
It's a VR game novel so no. Thank you anyway. Oh wow. Thanks. I'll start it then. Any Royalroad stories?
i put it off for a long time cause it was a vr novel too but it rarely feels like a vr novel cause there like only 1% story that takes part in real world, it feels like second coming of glutonny where there are two worlds
There is Delve in RR, but it was only good at the beginning since the Author dragged the story so much that there is literally no progress in the story for the past 9 months and plus the fact that the author only one release one chapter a week, but you should give it a try.
Okay, then among fanfics you can check https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13260401/1/A-Gamer-In-South-Blue https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11141738/1/The-Gamer-of-Sunagakure https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11798187/1/New-Game-Plus https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10983952/1/Brockton-Bay-s-Gamer https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13190156/1/Wandering-of-a-Sword-Hero I doubt that anything but the first one is going to be updated soon thought. The last don't even have many RPG elements, but REALLY good. And among original stories, there is https://www.novelupdates.com/series/m-e-m-o-r-i-z-e/
Delve is among the stories I am reading. I even mentioned it in the top post. I have let it stockpile the chapters since the city lord arc to let the plot progress. Oh thank you for the flood of recommendations. Will definitely give them a try.
Oh did not notice that, how about trying the Russian LITRPG? Like Mirror World and Underdog by Alexey Osadchuk?
