Literally Wang Yu other novels. The other ones that could be kind of similar are all dropped. Some reason Wang Yu novels get translated slow as hell across the board.
I lost interest in Demon Diary as I can't recall what is going on lol I will continue to read it maybe something will jog my memory Not a fan of most novels on NU or RRL

Transcending the Nine Heaven I found hard to get into will try again. Otherworldly Evil Monarch, I found cringe worthy. ISSTH U dropped, MC got too blood thirsty. The main reason I like Han Li is because he is low key. The Dragoneer story in ISSTH was my favorite arc but I doubt it was revisited
If you like wolf in sheep skin kind of MC then Martial God Asura, Sovereign of the Three Realms and Battle Through the Heavens fit the bill.
Yeah Wang Yu got a habit of during a lot of chapters not with the MC. He does that in RMJI and Han Li is one of my favorite MCs. Tempered Immortal MC is similar but he's like the most cautious MC I know. Too bad the translator dropped it. Since you said Low key you might like Immortal too bad the current Ark has an annoying side character and I hope they change their ways soon. If I think of others I'll let you know.
Yep the MC not bloodthristy the type you like. He's smart and cautious. He just wants to literally be what the name of the novel is. It's just the author did something you see in a lot of older wuxia tv shows not sure if modern ones do it now but i hate it. There is another novel but it only has 14 chapters translated.
RMJI really get watered down after the first thousand chapters, the author kept on pumping chapters to make more filler, more money... anyway you're looking for cautious, prudent, above average smart mc hm... Legend of the great saint mc seem to fit so far from what we've seen in translated chapters. Great Dao Commander got a reputation too. Chronicle of primordial wars mc's personality fit too. Daoist Gu. if you're willing to try something else than cultivation then go for Thriller Paradise, the mc, side characters and story really get interesting.

I spoke to the translator well well previous translator of Reverend Insanity. It is not really what I am looking for. One other reason I enjoy RMJI is because the women so far don't really give him any mind lol
