    Looking for a music/sound editor that i can use to shorten or lengthen music, preferably site based but downloaded is fine.

    Conditions:
    - Free to use
    - Simple and user friendly
    - doesnt require any sort of account to use.

    Try 'Audio Tool' or check something else from the list, maybe, you will find what you want there :blobunsure:

    Audacity works well for me but I don't really do much besides re-encoding (FLAC -> MP3 for a shitty player that couldn't handle flac) or trimming so don't know if it's any good for actual editing.

    I use Adobe Audition and Audacity for mixing and Melodyne for pitch correction.
    For start I reccomend Audacity because it have small size and easy to learn, you can also add multiples preset and vst.

    I'm\only really interested in trimming so Audacity sounds good enough.
