Resolved Looking for a specific cultivation or magic novel

I am looking for a novel I read in the past and it was about a boy who grows up and cultivates. Amazing description I know XD I will try to describe a few chapters. I believe his grandfather had him train lightning or fire or something in a volcano/mountain during the start or so. And here is one of the chapters I remember the most. i think the mc was badly injured and people were hunting him down in the middle of a city and he went into a sidestore of a person he knows and it turns out the owner is super strong and has ice powers (i think but i am unsure) and the guy either kills or punishes the people before leaving with the mc to go train at a new place. I also believe the mc was trying to be a crafter after that but I am unsure and he met a beast that has ice powers where the store owner took him too afterwards. Sorry to have such a vague description XD I really can't remember much
