The basic premise of the novel. A boy is born to ( I presume) a royal family and a light comes down on him. Everybody thinks this means that he will be powerful however, as he gets older it becomes apparent that he has issues (Autism i think) and he becomes mostly forgotten. He was also engaged to girl who I believe was born on the same day as him. From the little I can remember he has a knack for buying things and somehow picking out the most valuable item. He is nicknamed the prodigious boy (based on his loose spending) or something like that. If you can somehow figure out what novel I am referring to based on this I applaud you. Thanks
