So quite recently I got an email update from Duolingo releasing some Asian languages. I had signed up for it but never used it. Therefore I decided to give it a try and I am currently about 13 days in and I found Japanese to be quite easy due to the fact I watch a lot of anime plus I have a decent memory (Not on major Kanji yet). I am also attempting Korean, I find the alphabet a bit hard to memorize. Maybe after some time I would be able to easily read it, however, I experienced a set back. When I started learning the words I find it difficult to make any sense of them. Some words would be pretty simple for an English Speaker, some are eh. There isn't much for Korean anime, so I am looking for the latest trend on some good Korean Dramas. So far on my list are just Coffee Prince, Phantom and Dream High. I don't have a particular preference on genre as long as it's interesting. QED Calling all you KDrama Fan Boys and Girls give me something interesting. Don't give me something too salty though Thanks your help! Now to sit back and wait. P.S. I am also considering Chinese(Mandarin) as well.

If you like Park Shin Hye, there’s The Heirs in addition. My Love From Another Star is also a good drama with Jun Ji Hyun’s comedic acting.
Oh! And also, I made this when I was learning hangul. Haven't looked back in a while so I not sure if it's accurate but it helped me.
Masters sun and oh my Venus. I'm not a kdrama person but i admit that So Ji Sub is a great actor to watch and I have cried on both dramas... Also for Chinese drama, my only all time favorite is Nirvana in Fire. Highly, highly, highly recommend that.
Try variety shows like running man, infinity challenge or knowing brother. Since variety shows, ppl say what they usually say like in their daily life. While i believe, drama will use some line in order to be romantics or cool stuff.

Speaking about So Ji Sub, I forgot to list I'm Sorry I Love You. Probably among my best kdrama ever if not the best one ,just a bit old. I don't watch many Chinese drama but Nirvana is good. I like Mei Changsu.
