I appreciate good writing, but not in anime. Or I appreciate good writing in anime, but not in its dialogue. I don't like anime where it's a guy/girl talking to themselves or another for the majority of the run-time. If I wanted that, I would read a book. What I seek is not lightning, no, what I seek is an anime (or multiple) that relies more on visual cues and silence. Orrr, anime that does action or comedy well. Really, I'm fine with either. Or both. I liked Bacccano. I feel like they didn't have to exposize (do exposition) too much through dialogue, no, though the beginning felt a bit aimless/confusing, it all came together wonderfully. And I liked Nichijou and daily life of highschool boys on the comedy end. Thank you in advance.
I am not sure I understand but I will recommend these, try them if you want (if you didn't already, of course): Death Parade Bungo Stray Dogs Kekkai Sensen Monogatari Series Naoki Urasawa's Monster Xam'd: Lost Memories
You can try Baka to Test if its comedy done really well. However, the comedy in this very dumb and may be too much for some viewers. Good writing I would have to give it to Steins;Gate. I think it's a masterpiece, it's a little slow paced and really kicks off past around episode 12. It is one of the few shows in modern media that actually pulls off time travel splendidly.
Kylee, the singer for the ED of "Xam'd", is from Chandler, AZ. Mentioning "Xam'd" means you have great taste.
I would recommend durarara!! if you liked baccano though I think you've already watched that if you've already watched baccano. basing on the title, death parade and hi-score girl comes to mind but I'm not sure if they'll suit your taste.
Chihayafuru. You'd think a show about a competitive japanese card game based on old japanese poems wouldn't have much going for it, but it's one of the better shows out there.
