I really enjoy stories that are based on the development of the main character. I would like to find a story where the MC is not dependent on others or often makes decisions without others in consideration. I get really annoyed with lots of socializing in stories and ideally I would like something more action based with interior dialouge from the MC. I know this may be strangely specific but i just cant seem to find many good stories of independent/ socially isolated MC. P.S. i like the fantasy/ adventure genre but I’ll take anything at this point.
Originstory the VRMMO: The Advent of Axebear. MC is a gung-ho female who's playing a VRMMO, mostly as a solo player. She does play with others, sometimes, but her personality traits pretty much fit your request to a T.
You forgot to mention that even though she does occasionally work with others...she still basically does whatever the hell she wants, and the others are kind of just forced to go along for the ride. XD Naru ftw, haha.
