Nah, made it to class. I say yes, you can learn since it's basically how languages are taught... I can't write Chinese well either........ reading is more important in general
今天没有发现了有趣的事情。我有太多功课,没有很多时间。(T_T) 谢谢~ 但是我现在太忙了,还有我的中文真的不太好。 我觉得你应该是比我大,不知道怎么样叫你。。。你有没有一个名字我们可以用吗?还是你要我们用 “大哥” 或者 “大姐”呢?
今年我十九岁, 所以我不知道我是不是比较老点. Your Chinese sounds fine to me for the most part and I'm too lazy to type Chinese now, gotta sleep... morning class at 8 rip me. Call me whatever you guys want hahaha. I'll chat more tomorrow for if yall still want me around 老雪也可以
哇,大家的中文都很好,我是美国出生的,但是我父母是中国人。 所以我会一点中文。我可以讲中文但是我写字和读字不太好。 哈哈。 Wa~~, Everyone's Chinese is all very good, I am an American born and raised, but my parents are Chinese, so I can understand some Chinese. I am a fluent speaker, but my reading and writing aren't very good. Haha~
If you ever need to speak Chinese come find me, I'm technically a native speaker, raised speaking chinese (Saturday school allowed me to read 60-70% of everything you all wrote, mostly infered based on context clues or used Goole translate to listen to the word/look at pinyin),but basically white washed and can't read or write very well(too many damn characters), idk specifics but I can speak most things, like I won't know how to say the word metaphysical or discuss quantum theory with you or talk modern slang, but I can do basically everything else... Idk Skype or something? If you're interested.
Oh, that's cool I grew up with English with my first language, and although my father is fluent in Mandarin, my mother isn't, so it wasn't really spoken at home. I actually learned Chinese around the same time I learned English (maybe a year or two after) because I was raised in Singapore, where a second language is mandatory in school. Unfortunately, after about 6 years of learning Chinese, I moved to the U.S. and since I pretty much never used it here, I forgot most of the language. I picked it up again about 2 years ago, with my high school classes, and while my earlier experience with Chinese makes it easier for me than most learners, I don't really use it outside of class, which was why I was hoping to improve my conversational Chinese with this pen pal idea. So yeah, my Chinese is probably somewhat off
你真是比我大,我现在是十六岁! I'll just address you by your username then, if you don't mind~ I look forward to chatting with you ( ^ - ^ )
That must be nice~ I'm so bad with Chinese that I consider myself monolingual..... My Chinese is probably at the level of a 5 or 6-year-old's Haha~
